The Reluctant Adventures of Martin Jerrold comprise three books: The Blighted Cliffs, The Chains of Albion and Treason's River. The books were published by Bantam in Britain and St Martin's Press in the US. Further books were planned, but in November 2005, the publishers decided to abandon the series.

Many thanks to all the readers who read and enjoyed the Martin Jerrold novels, particularly everyone who wrote in to share their feelings. Jerrold was my first successful fictional creation, and I think still my most endearing. It was hard to let him go; my one consolation is that (with an inkling of what was coming) I left him in a pub at the end of Treason's River.

Fortunately, unlike Jerrold, I lived to fight another day, but I now write mainly under my alter-ego Tom Harper. You can find out more about those books, and what I'm doing at the moment, by following the link at the top right of the page.
